Swapping RAM on NVMe and overselling?

Do any of you providers do this? Would the customer notice a difference on an already maxed out node?

    Yeah, they'd notice when the drives get absolutely annihilated by the I/O use.

    Drives usually won't make it to their second or third birthday, so it's not a cheap thing to do.

  • It'd be cheaper to upgrade your ram than try to do this.

    Unless you use optane, which might be used for swapping when you're short of memory.
