Free alternative to Nimble/Wowza

Hi guys, i'm looking for alternative to Wowza Streaming engine or Nimble.

I wan't to stream to my own RTMP server then get .m3u8 (HLS) and place it in my video player.

Any alternaatives? Thanks

the nginx-rtmp module sucks and has major bugs in terms of suddenly ending up in an infinity loop and just consuming CPU power.

Sure it works.. 95% of the time.
