How can you tell if it has been upgraded to 1GBps?

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before.

I purchased VPS with coupon on it and requested a CPU and 1GBps add on.
You can find number of CPU with cat /proc/cpuinfo but how can you tell if you're using 1GBps port?

do a quick speedtest

1. apt-get install ethtool -> ethtool eth0 | grep Speed

2. apt-get install iperf -> iperf -c speedtest.serverius.net -P 10

3. wget http://speedtest.serverius.net/files/1000mb.bin
