Selling OVH IPs

I'm going to sell a server along with its' IPs. Can I do that? I know I can transfer the server to another OVH account.... But is it allowed? Does anyone know?

    They changed the transfer process.

Signing a pdf document doesn't sound that challenging, really. Every contract takeover let alone company takeover needs some paperwork. If it can be done by signing a pdf and scanning&sending it back that's quite easy compared to other types of transfer I'd say.

Just a change new nic handle of admin, bill, tech contacts services and all. Confirm on both sides and ready.

And at the expense of the procedure with PDF: https://www.ovh.ie/cgi-bin/ie/procedure/procedureChangeOwner.cgi

Well I did it, it's long and not convenient. It's easier to change the contacts nic handle.

And if you want to transfer only IP from an account to an account, you can use Public Cloud. Attach the IP to the Public Cloud, transfer the Public Cloud to another account by changing tech, admin, bill contacts and transfer the IP from it to the new server.

With no regards whatsoever for any procedures of your providers. Way to go.

And then next thread will be a complain that OVH has demands because the owner contact wasn't changed, or the server was wiped. Or cancelled. Or account blocked. Name it.

OVH is divided into 19 branches. Everyone has their own rules. I see that you never bought servers from them to see how competitors work. For servers there is no owner. Owner is only for the domain.

Clearly, there is some kind of entity that is being changed by the very procedure you referred to as inconvenient.

According to your logic, this changes the owner for Kimsufi and Soyoustart:

    https://www.soyoustart.com/fr/cgi-bin/procedure/procedureChangeOwner.cgi

    https://www.kimsufi.com/fr/cgi-bin/procedure/procedureChangeOwner.cgi

    Only it does not work.

This is the remnant from the old panel engine.

Now the owner changes on domains:
    https://www.ovh.ie/order/domain/#/legacy/domain/trade/informations?options=~((domain~~'test.ovh)

    Trade and without .PDF.

Since I work with OVH every day. I tried all their services, all server configurations, domains (one with the most convenient registrars in the world), all cloud services, all services in labs/sunrise, on all sites, at all branches. I know more than the employees in OVH, I can paint dozens of moments, but I will not.

It's impossible. Different billings. The EU is separate from the United States.

The only way to transfer IPs is between server/service attached to that. And the only way to transfer servers is between same regional accounts. (EU to EU or US to US/World)

What about EU account but CA regional servers to another CA account?

it goes by regional in the account. as EU account can make CA regional servers, CA accounts can make EU regional servers.

The transfer is between 2 accounts that doesn't matter where your servers are located.
