The dedicated server are located at Interwerk and you've got a POP at Interxion?
Yes, all current special offers are located at our Interwerk location (combahton FFM2), regular offers on KMS-Hosting.com too. Offers on combahton.net are located exclusively at Interxion (combahton FFM3).
We have colocations at Interwerk and Interxion. Between both locations we operate a WDM interconnection with multiple 10Gbit, each location is also independently connected to seperate upstreams in case of a upstream maintenance or failed edge routing equipment.
Interwerk reminds me of bad experinces in the past, did it got better now?
They had no UPS's and AntiDDOS was oversold, pretty shit.
Also, the network management was outsourced to another company, since they could not do it by themself.
We pay for UPS and our services are NOT using the Interwerk Voxility protection. We have our own solution, no Voxility / Interwerk Anti-DDoS involved. See https://bgp.he.net/AS30823#_graph4 in order to get a overview of our upstreams. We are not relying on their network infrastructure, if something fails we are still up and running.
Since we started operating our colocation in Interwerk in May 2014, we had no power-loss or downtime related to that.
The anti ddos solution from KMS/combahton is really nice.
