Desktop environment for VPS with least resources usage
Hello, i am in a pickle here. I have a lowend VPS. But i want to install desktop environment on it. I need a browser running on this VPS 24/7, for webapp which i want to run for my project. But i cannot find a suitable enough desktop environment. Almost all of them are bloated and have more than i want.

LXDE is fairly low-rent.
Why not just run the browser if that’s all you need?
You mean i can run browser without desktop environment?
This might help https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/32454/is-there-a-way-to-have-a-web-browser-while-no-kde-or-gnome-is-installed
Also take a look at fluxbox (http://fluxbox.org) - the defaults should pretty much work if you're not very picky on the actual environment. It's really lightweight and as long as your main focus is the browser (or some other app), you should be all set.
I run fluxbox+xrdp on a number of my VPSs (OpenVZ included) and they run fine as long as you have enough memory for the apps/browsers and latency is decent.
I moved away from x2go to xrdp since I could really customize my client side (using whatever rdp client) and not require a not-very-customizable app.
Fuck that use Lynx
If this person wasn't a 5 year reg, I'd immediately assume clickbot.
For the browser, use luakit or midori
If you weren't new, I'd immediately assume you're a cunt.
You sure have a lot to learn.
