Sadly, no. The performance enhancements on the network weren't IPv6 compatible.

Ah, bummer. These millenial shoe peddlers don't know the value of a true high number premium class c.

We call it the "Chav Loaded Sneaker"

From what I've read, a high number of backlinks from the same C IP space may hurt your rankings (an attempt of google to prevent PBN), because it may mean that all your backlinks are under the same provider.

So to create PBNs you get hosting from different providers, web2.0 them(tier one) create automatted/botted web2.0 backlinks to those web2.0s(tier two), and them blast with a bunch of dofollows(tier three).

Then write articles about you money site on those PBNs.

I have not tested this. So it may not even work...

Weren't most of these ideologies/writs/pagerankbullshit written back around the days that predate SNI/HTTPS-AS-A-REAL-THING/etc?

https://www.ipv4auctions.com/ Starting at just $4000 which is very cheap.

  • You're going the wrong way about it, the 'class C' thing is just old advice wrt you building your own links to appear 'natural' by not having all the backlinking sites from the same IP or subnet or 'class C'

Spread your sites over a bunch of providers

You're obviously in that shady business since you spoke about it.

Actually I'm not into the "shady", but I may be a bit knowledgeable about it.

Trying to understand how Google ranks your website and what may penalize it, in my point of view is something that everyone that owns a business should understand.

Welcome to the internet, where SEO makes you money and where every business is trying to rank high in google.

Have a nice stay, and be less of an ass in 2018

You absolutely should care about search engine rankings. The problem is that the "omg different class C" tripe is cargo cultism from like 10-15 years ago (and the terminology "class C" was very outdated even then).

Funny thing though, the motivation behind different "class C" IPs was from what I saw usually to hide link farms (i.e. webspam exploiting the PageRank algorithm) from Google's anti-spam stuff. That's pretty ass-y behaviour if you ask me.

One calls another an ass while failing to realize that he is being an ass.

Now that I mentioned such, I am being an arse. It is a vicious circle.
