somehow i managed to get it to working and re-install with ubuntu 16.
but when i do
df -hit shows me around 5GB only instead of 320GB.do i need to run any extra commands ? or contact support?
PS: would be great, if someone could tell me how to change language in ubuntu to english... followed multiple guides but still some sections showing german.

You don't understand what it said, and didn't read. The "default" partition only makes a root and leaves the rest up to you. Load up cfdisk/fdisk and partition the rest as you want it. Their panel takes some getting used to.
