FreeBSD with VPS 2GB RAM (North America)

I'm looking for a VPS capable of running FreeBSD 9.1 64-bit. I only need 2GB of RAM, and very little disk space (ie: 50GB). The CPU doesn't matter much, any 2Ghz+ will do, even with 1 or 2 cores. As far as bandwidth, the lowest possible is fine. I prefer Chicago as the location, my second preference is Dallas. Anything in USA or Canada should be fine.

I'll only be using this to test some scripts (nothing harmful) and other simple things that will barely use resources.

Thanks

Where are the VPS located? Can I get the 1 core version with 2GB RAM?

  • Location: Lenoir, NC

    ping 192.111.147.110

The plans are fixed because we do not oversell ram or storage. Giving a Single core plan with 2 gb of ram is like giving a Triple core plan for us. Everyone on the node can use 100% of their allocated resources and everything will work just fine :)

We can do this on our SSD KVM plans, but not on our Budget VPS plans -- https://www.lunanode.com/ssdkvm.php

The 2 GB plan has 12 GB (SSD) disk space though. You'll have to open a ticket for FreeBSD, and install it via ISO.

Edit: actually the 2 GB RAM plan is now 12 GB SSD.

Oh sorry, I found the location but forgot to remove it from my response. And alright, thankyou.

This is more along the lines of what I'm looking for. I would have to install my own FreeBSD installation is what you mean, correct?

Yes, we have the ISO for 9.1 64-bit but you would need to mount and install it from SolusVM.
