Is BAB VPS legit?
Hey guys. I was searching around the internet and stumbled upon a website that claims to provide free VPS services 100% free of charge with no credit card verification for a year or whatever. I signed up and I was provided a VPS ( I have yet to even try logging in to it, so I'm unsure if it even works) but I wanted to know if you guys knew anything about this provider? Seems like a scam...

I'm sure your query is completely innocent and not a marketing attempt, which is why a nice SEO-juiced link like this one, that puts this thread at the top of BAB VPS search results won't bother you.

Their website lists reviews that refer to StratoVPS which they are most certainly not. Whois links them to gratisvps.net but no clear owner data. Not exactly convincing. I'd say at best it's some well meaning but misguided individual that will have to close shop once all the script kiddies abuse the living shit out of those boxes otherwise who knows...
