Double NAT & Public/WAN IP

I get internet home with a very "lovely" ISP where the knowledgeable people refuse to speak.
I'm looking for help :-)

I'm behind a strange double NAT and different methods give me 2 different "Public IP". As you may guess, only one is working. But it's that same one used by most, Cloudflare, whatismyip*.*, etc

With 2 notable exceptions (I could find): ipv4.whatip.me & wanip.info which give the one I'm really looking for.

Any one can help and tell me how they do?
Thanks already!

  • Probably they just have two upstreams without BGP. So on some routes you are NATed to another IP.

  • Could be you're behind CGNAT. If that's the case, best of luck.
