How can I test HW Raid?

How can we test hardware card is working in Centos dedicated server? Is smartctl is enough for this or is there any tools for test it?

LSI has MegaCLI that you can run within Windows, CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu and BSD I believe. Very useful for checking the health of the array.

By test what do you mean? Health? Performance? etc.
