How much bandwidth do you actually need? Does Lithuania as a location work for you?

Does your LT location have anti-ddos?

  • Best bet kms-hosting.com (https://www.kms-hosting.com/ssd_rootserver)

Normally I see unmetered bandwidth for 100 Mbps port, though I will be using 5TB maximum per month. Any location from Europe will work but I would like to test the network before I purchase.

So, 5TB with the ability to burst up to 30TB/mo, eh?

5TB would end up costing a little more.

    yes :(

In that case, I'd probably be looking at the $20+ mark. BuyVM is $30 for 2 dedicated cores.

If you need dedicated cores, and 5TB traffic with strong DDoS protection, then actually it would cost more I'm afraid.

But 20Gbit attacks are small so you could probably find cheaper services with lesser protection.

to be honest 5 TB will be more than enough for me. Unmetered is not required but as I said I normally see it here and there.

Through your offer and remember that I will pay for a year.

  • @AnthonySmith can probably set you up, but I'm not sure about his DDoS abilities.

For basic protection, probably you're looking at around $200 /yr. But for real protection that can handle large attacks, I think $500+ minimum.

  • Would our new KVMSD range suit your needs?https://websound.co.uk/vps-kvmsd

It'll be available in the next few hours in Netherlands, we'll be offering them with a 30% discount to start with (takes pricing to around $5 per GB of RAM).

We wouldn't offer it currently, we are looking into it, just advising.

Thanks, I don't offer dedicated cores though, and certainly, not for $20 with 4GB RAM appreciate the ping though :)

I wasn't sure if you did, or not. Yeah - $20 is a bit nuts.
