I am not familiar enough with LXC to cast judgement against it, but could you explain why an LXC container would be priced identically to a KVM container? As I understood it LXC is very close to OpenVZ and is still not full separation like KVM is, so it still seems like a lower tiered product? Maybe I just don't see why if they were the same price you wouldn't just choose KVM?

I would appreciate any insight you can provide on you pricing choices for the LXC products you sell.

    Thanks in advance!

    Cheers!

@TheLinuxBug I understand where you're coming from. LXC is more similar to OpenVZ than KVM. I also understand that, typically, OpenVZ is priced lower than KVM.

The list prices on our website also reflect this; KVM services are slightly more expensive. Why is this not carried over to this offer? Honestly, it never crossed my mind. Nobody has ever brought that up (and we've been running this offer for the entirety of 2017 so far). No matter which plan you choose from this offer, it's a deal either way (compared to list prices).

I usually structure these deals annually. Every year I come up with a LET/LEB special for each virtualization type and that becomes our "base" offer for the year. Of course I then throw in other deals for special days/holidays. For 2018's base offer I will make sure to pay attention to LXC's pricing comparative to KVM. I agree it would make more sense that way.

I Highly recommend Vapornode. Their KVM VPSes give a lot of bang for your buck, they're very fast, network is great, custom control panel works really well (even has a firewall, dns, and a backup option), tons of ISOs to choose from, FreeBSD works wonderfully on their VPSes, and support is great!
