How do I cap network speed on VPS to avoid abusing the host node port?

As title says, I'm hosting few files on nginx with fair amount of traffic. I don't want to use full 1Gbps for this, so is there any way to limit it on 50 Mbps or 100 Mbps on VPS?

Buy a VPS from a host using virtualizor and ask your host to limit it for you
