  • That small kvm vps. I may order. -_-

  • We'd love to have ya :D

  • Great LowEndBoxes here at a tempting price point. Planning to grab one..

@MCHPhil I have a few questions for ya..

    Are these on 100Mbit / 1Gbit Port?

Do you provide a VPS Panel ( SolusVM? ) If so is it active now

Please provide a list of OS available for KVM

Awesome, thanks for the kind words!

    To hopefully answer your questions...

OpenVZ plans are on 1Gbit port while the KVM plans are on 200Mbit port (with plans to move to 1Gbit port at a later date).

    SolusVM is available and active.

    KVM OS Templates

    CentOS 6.4

    Debian 6 & 7

(We prefer customers use an ISO for security reasons.)

    KVM OS ISOs

    CentOS 5.9 & 6.4

    Debian 6 & 7

    openSUSE 12.3

    Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Custom ISO are not a problem either, just let me know.

  • I like how AUP clearly answer all my potential questions without too much searching or guessing between Web Hosting and VPS hosting parts.

Quite True. One of the informative plan listing pages I have seen around... http://www.mycustomhosting.net/kvm-vps.php / http://www.mycustomhosting.net/openvz-vps.php

Informative knowledgebase and network status page.

If you can provide sample serverbear benchmark, that would be great.

  • These are for the OpenVZ plans.

    OpenVZ VPS Benchmark #1

    OpenVZ VPS Benchmark #2

    OpenVZ VPS Benchmark #2

I am short any KVM VPS benchmarks currently. I'll see about running one and posting a link when it completes.

  • What OS's can run on that small of a KVM? I know in my experience I can't get CentOS booting on under 165MB of ram.

  • Debian shouldn't be much of a problem, and there are lots of smaller OS's one may want / need. It's not for everyone definitely.

    Debian 6 minimal install + nginx + php5-fpm + mysql using just about 20-30mb memory. :)

  • Yes, I used Debian7 minimal template in this provider, thanks!
It's very good OS version for any Debian fans.

  • the price is really impressive, but for me the connectivity fto Montreal, Canada is not good...

Can I get the KVM-LET-Exclusive 2 Gb RAM at $7 a month, with double the resources if I pay yearly? I just had to ask...
Also the link for the KVM-LET-Exclusive 2 Gb RAM does not work correctly for me. Shows a openVZ VPS in the cart. Great offer

We have OpenVZ in North Carolina. :D

I would be open to doing that. If you mention the post after order I'll get you setup.

The KVM-LET-Exclusive showed OpenVZ as the category. I have changed that, those who ordered before would have got KVM as just the category was wrong :D

    Thanks for the interest everyone!

  • The strikethrough for me makes it hard to read. plus the math computation. Good offer though! Good luck!

Thank you! How would you propose I handle the strikethrough? Anything that make it easier to understand.

Just received a shiny new 4GB KVM. Ordering and setup was fast and friendly,
Since I did not see it in the posting I mention that the cores are 3600 mhz

    The quick test show.
ubench with 4 cores CPU: 1057793 Mem: 905355 Total: 981574
ubench with 1 core CPU: 284785 Mem: 481306 Total: 383045

    dd if=/dev/zero of=iotest bs=64k count=10k conv=fdatasync && rm -fr iotest
    10240+0 records in
    10240+0 records out
    671088640 bytes (671 MB) copied, 1.66178 s, 404 MB/s

I will post the serverbear link as soon as it finishes....

  • @MCHPhil is there vSwap in Openvz plan?

  • @MorningIris said:

None of the OpenVZ plans include vSwap.

  • Wondering if the KVM IPs @ BHA, OVH comes with DDOS Protection ( OVH vaccum) by default.

  • AFAIK, BHS is being setup at a later time/date.

  • Get rid of the strikethrough and the maths calculation, just list the RAM and price as like jcaleb said, it just looks messy and confusing.

Other than that, fantastic offer! Good luck.

  • is 200GB Bandwidth/month. enough for 24/7 web html scraping?

  • Personally I wouldn't bother with this asshole. Pardon my french.

I don't comment often, as often I haven't had any issues and most places who want customers don't act in the manor this one has.

Let's do a small rundown. As of a few months ago, I decided to get into some VPSing for my personal needs, what they are is irrelevant. However the one thing I require is IPv6. As of right now, I have 11 through different companies. Yes, 11.

I opened a ticket as I normally do with most companies who do not provide the v6 information yet claim their network provides it. I don't get a professional response back from the sales ticket, I get a "Um, for what reason specifically?"

I explain that I currently have (was 10, now 11) VPS across the world, all with different origins, all on different backbones, and wished to know what ipv6 range I would be put on given I placed an order.

    The response a second time.

"Because your asking for a LOT of information, most providers don't care to give out EVERY range they own because that can open then up to attacks.

KVM is in BHS OVH and OpenVZ is in Dacentec.

That should fulfill answering your question. "

I state again, that isn't helpful, as I'm trying to keep things seperated, and asked if they could not tell me the /32 or /48 range I would be put on. I also asked if he really didn't want another customer, as I was willing to be one.

Quoted from the sales dept email:
    "Honestly, no.

    Have a nice day. "

With professionals like this one in business, I can firmly say I hope this company goes under. You sir should not be dealing with people or public. You've cost yourself a paying customer that probably would have stayed that way for years as long as the network held up. Now, I wouldn't use your services if you offered them for free.

Be wary LET/LEB users, this is the kind of service that looks nice on the outside, but the inside wasn't worth the effort.

As per the last email from them, I return the regard.

    Have a nice day.

  • I love this provider, fast ticket reply, always helpful, in fact I'm asking for 2nd kvm box.

  • +1

It's interesting how none of your actual comments are here. My customers love me. I tried to assist you and you were sort of abusive. Instead of being in a situation where you and I wouldn't be happy with each other. I am saving us both the headache.

Also, my IPv6 information is on my site. I also set up a looking glass site for each location I'm in to better assist in these situations. I'm not sure you even looked at my site?
