KVM & Disk I/O

Mahfuz_SS_EHLMahfuz_SS_EHL Host Rep, Veteran

Hi,

Should the Disk I/O be too different than that of the Host Node in KVM Virtualization ??

Host Node: 1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 1.46249 s, 734 MB/s
VPS: 1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 3.25069 s, 330 MB/s

Virtualizor, KVM Virtualization, LVM Storage Type & RAW File Format.

Should it be like this or I've an issue ??

Thanks.

The disk IO also depend on the % of CPU allocation you put on your VPS (from virtualizor panel) . If you put 50% cpu you will see slow IO and if you put 100% or 0 , you will see better IO .
