  • I was test one of my client's Contabo VPS about 6 months ago. (For help him)

Their I/O speed was about 100MB/s and bandwidth speed was 300KB-8MB/s.

  • Nice. Do the host nodes have RAID?

In my review linked above I had slower I/O (100 mb/s), too. Phoned them and it worked smooth just like now :)

I have just shared my bench result only. Nothing more.

I assume it's SSHD? :P Also can you run serverscope.io bench so it is on their site if one ever wants to compare.

Well, the amount of SSD they are selling at that low price, sounds like oversell but I/O seems to be fine.

1.2TB SSD for 26.99 on a VPS? Someone should buy 2 and fill them up.

  • @Ympker are you still with Contabo? Any update for 2018? Is VPS M SSD reliable for a prod app?

I am not using them right now as I have no need for additional vps as is. Check pm.

  • You do not want to use Contabo. I get random connection drops literally every afternoon for 2 of my clients. They have been "working" on it for the past 2 months..
