Well, they don't sell VPSes as VPSes in the sense that they provide a virtually dedicated server like we're used to on LET/LEB. They provide VPSes just for hosting with cPanel/WHM. That's why they don't have a VPS management console like Soluc etc. As they say on their website: "What we mean by mini server, is that each VPS hosting plan is an independent split-section of a dedicated server.".

BTW, its really poor that the guy don't know about VPS or things other then Shared Hosting.................

Why should he/she? They are just selling shared hosting and dedicated servers. They do not sell VPSes in that sense they are bespoken here on LET/LEB.

I suppose because if it is outsourced it is supposed to be of poor quality/have no clue.
Actually, it depends. Microsoft's phone support is outsourced too, at times is pretty good, I managed to learn things in the past from them.
Outsourced live chat support could be the result for the crappy responses.
I have no issues, if the quality of the live chat was good, paying them a weekly salary and spending more money on the outsourced Level 1 staff
Some hosts have no Live Chat... just saying..
