so uhm.. There is no box for phone number and yet... that error popped out.
@Saiku,
Just caught that and corrected.
@Infinity. Price will be 6 pounds per month. Pre-signups will receive a discount code for at least 1.40p / month recurring and more for the first month to test.
I'll be interested to see how that 4GB plan works out, I love my overzold 4G but I'd welcome a plan in the UK as I'm using it mainly for an occasional Remote Desktop, and the reduced latency would be a winner.
@Nekki, great to hear. Please ensure you signup via the form to ensure you get the offer before it goes public.
Have done so already!
Are 'preorder deals' even allowed? @liam
Are deals over $7/mo even allowed @liam
Surprised you didn't notice that @Jacob.
Guys,
If you want to take your messages elsewhere that'd be great. Feel free to PM me if you'd like anything changed.
The discount given to pre-signups will bring it within the $7/month offer requirement.
There are no rules for it at the moment however we may be revising this in the next version of the guidelines soon, as long as it's within the $7/month guidline as @httpzoom have assured us it should be fine for the moment.
Good luck with the offer anyhow @httpzoom.
I don't see how signing up to be contacted when a plan becomes available is classed as pre-order. No contract, no money changing hands, no promises of provision.
FWIW, I'd personally rather pay a quid or so more and have things sustainable, than lowered to meet LEB price and make it a riskier proposition for the provider.
@Nekki, the deal itself was planned for LET @Sunny_HTTP_Group passed me over the offer and when posting I felt the discount couldn't have been correct.
@Sunny_HTTP_Group has done the sums and assures me this is the way we can / should go!
These prices do not give any advantage on non-monthly contracts?
@dannix, for the special offer 1GS that is correct.
It seems strange to me, although I understand that the calculation is tight. Beside that it is quite a nice package. The bandwidth could be a bit higher though.
@dannix, bandwidth is something we have plenty of. We have customers that from time to time go over and we give extra bandwidth for the month etc.
@httpzoom I think you meant Quarter in the later
@Asim, ooops
Yeah right pull the other one mate
@kro? We have not yet charged a bandwidth overage fee. If a customer goes over limit we will tend to give them extra for that month to tide them over and should it happen again the month after we suggest an upgrade.
Do you have evidence to the contra?
I've signed up for the pre order.
The BW for the 1GB plan could indeed be higher, but only for reassurance because i doubt a lot of people go over 300GB a month anyway. Off-topic, i'm really impressed with the 128MB package and the speed of the VPS (including transfer as the location is within a few miles of myself).
I'm using one of those 64MB boxes as a VPN. Works like a charm
@coolnow you hit the nail on the head exactly. If someone uses over 300gb in a month they do not have to fear overage charges and can simply contact us to allocate more bandwidth to their VPS. If it happens on a regular basis we'd ask them to upgrade to another package!
We have the hardware within final testing today in regards to the pre-sign up and will be emailing everyone once we are ready to accept orders.
Got the mail thanks but no Ubuntu 12.04 x64 template?
Hey,
When ordering there is not, however once provisioned you will be able to use Ubuntu 12.04.
Groovy, thanks

What's the RAM of the host node?
Is there any possibility of a benchmark (serverbear?)
