Offer is listed under dedicated servers. May I know, how are you saying it's a VPS?

VPS - shared dedicated server, if you had any knowledge of CPU you will know that Intel Xeon E3-1230v2 is 4 core and 8 threads processor, see more information about it:
    http://ark.intel.com/products/65732/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1230-v2-8M-Cache-3_30-GHz

P.S. IT is not rocket science!

Someone can conform that only one core is usable?

It's because the CPU is 4c/8t. 1 core means it's VPS. If it's dedi, you'd have 4 cores or 8 threads.

I think it's clearly described on oneprovider website? or something in the air confusing?

Please check the original post I have already mentioned the specifics of the processor. They have onecloud, but it is posted under dedicated servers.

Okay, But they have posted it in Dedicated servers section. Just wanted to know if any one else has bought the server.

Well, yeah. But its not a dedicated server even if they have it listed there. I have a bridge to sell you. Its not actually a bridge, but Im calling it one, so it costs as much as one.

  • Is the disk direct passthrough or a slice of a raid?

I wouldn't touch OneProvider again with @AuroraZ 's penis. Low end resold hardware with shitty, shitty, shitty old iDRACs and a functionless passthrough that kills your IPMI after about 1/2 hour. Even if it was the full machine, it's not worth it.

Took my awhile ya Yeti fuck but I got that box working right. Runs ok and works for back up of back ups. Not the fastest box on the planet but for 10 bucks I ain't a bitchin.

That's a great plan you hairless chihuahua- put backups of backups on a flakeshit. My $10 can go to WSI and their delicious Core2Duo with VMX enabled.

Hey it just my Linux Isos not my tentacle porn or anything important, you bald chinchilla pemus. I would drop it if and only if Scott gives me a Yeti special for around the same price with the storage as well.

I am liking their network man, really Yeti friendly.

But dunno about their fair usage

I just got the i3 offer... we will see how it goes.

  • Anyone has something in AMS? They say it's 2.5 Gb/s. Would be interesting if it's really that fast.

You can try it with a C2S on Scaleway, it's about 1400Mbit down / 900-1200Mbit up in my experience

Within the table it is listed under "Cloud Series" and the cpu states "Intel Xeon E3-1230v2 3.30Ghz (2 vCores)" so it seems to be a VPS, or what they say VDS.

  • WSSWSS Member

Yeah. No. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...

  • Get one dedi, it's out of stock now
