OVH 2017 Summer sale?

Anyone knows if they do these kind of stuff like Online.net does with 50% price cuts?

If so, when is the usual sale from OVH?

Anyone knows?

Going by their last sales, it'll be a small discount which is non-recurring even if they do sales.

  • Why would anyone know

Generally speaking OVH doesn't do much discounts, as @Tom already mentioned - they usually only do non-recurring discounts.

If OVH did like online.net, then the OVH weathermap would look like this: http://netmap.online.net/

Wish they could do on their SYS servers. :)

  • I will in August cancel 250 i5-3570S/16/2 TB kimsufi - I think in the autumn they will then be sold out for flash sale as it was in the new year last year on 9euro, when I cancel i5-2400

    I think was 14.99 eur.

It will be interesting to pay for the installation or not. Sometimes employees forget to make a setup fee.

They just had something like that. I got one at BHS with an i5-3570S but am regretting it a little. I probably shouldn't renew.

    Ks-3c or another promo?

    If it's a 3c, you'll regret dropping it.

NEVER let go of a KS-3C.

    It's a KS-4C at something like $15 a month. I think the KS-3C's were less than that.

I have two of these from the last KS-3C 8.99 sale and no setup fee in BHS:

    Serveur Kimsufi KS-3C - 8G i3-2130 1x2 To

    But I got the KS-4C - 16G i5-3570S instead :)

Hopes to get a similar deal tomorrow.

    Doesn't look that exciting.

Compared to serverboerse it's quite cheap. Tho different ram size and single disk, but unmetered.

  • I thought the flash sale for tomorrow was for a 3B and not for a 4A ?

  • Have Kimsufi 1gbps link now? 100mbps is almost residential line.

Sure, unmetered 1gbps links for ~15 euro a month.

It seems like ks got 1gbps links on download in RBX.

not where I live, a lot of people are still on DSL, I'm on Comcast DOCSIS so I get 100 down, but only 12 up, yeah the slow upload is apparently due to a technological limit or something

Online.net have it for less, there's a magic word called "shared" that makes this possible.

Thx, upload still 100mbps? I want to use rclone, so 100mbps is too slow.
