    Hello,

    Is there any company information I can look at?
    Your first offer is very aggressive in terms of pricing. Whats the price for IPs and Subnets?

  • Could you please run nench benchmark on one of your nodes, and post the result here?

    Thanks.

    Farnox is supposed to be a brand of 'Eudahosting UG' which is a registered company of Alexander Feld (not the handball player but do your your own research ;-)).
    It seems much like he is in the market for some years (Eudahosting was registered in 2013) - can't say anything about quality or reliability though

    UG in Germany is comparable to a Ltd, usually small startups or sole traders found these to limit their risk. I'd wildly guess he just left reselling behind and now colocates his own stuff at Accelerated DC.

    Your first offer is very aggressive in terms of pricing.

    probably the only way to get deeper into the market. I like the move to offer ryzen and bigger SSDs, something different to the usual offers - even if this is most probably all desktop grade stuff (nothing wrong, just to keep in mind).

    Whats the price for IPs and Subnets?

    very good point, I am interested in that pricing too or if there will be a way to announce own subnets?

    We're colocating our own hardware since three years but we recently moved into Accelerated's DC. We were at iNTERWERK before.

    Own subnets can be announced as well.

    Those dedis are incredibly tempting… Will have to take a closer look when I've got more time next weekend.

    @farnox Any chance to get more IPv6 (/56 or /48) on the dedis, to make them usable for VPS reselling?

  • farnoxfarnox Member

    @ucxo

    Yes but we only route /64. You can get such an assigment and we route as many /64s out of it as you need.

    looks promising, thanks for the additional informations :-)

    about traffic... sadly 1TB seems a bit low for the dedicated line, esp. with 20€/TB overage. is this by any chance only outgoing counted and incoming free or what about an upgrade to 5 or 10 TB?

    Where is 1 TB limit for dedicated line? Am I missing something? :-/

  • farnoxfarnox Member

    @akhfa

    The dedis come with 1TB traffic included.

    That doesn't make sense for a dedicated server....

    And what is the price for 30 TB? Im Frankfurt it shouldn't be so expensive. Danke schon.

    @Kevinjoa Not yet. I added this to our feature wish list. We currently accept Credit Cards, PayPal and SEPA bank transfer.

    2TB bandwidth is joke. 10TB is lowest bandwidth option acceptable on dedicated server. Everyone here know how much bandwidth cost in EU, its cheap as hell and you charge 0.01 euros for 1gb overage.... Its 2017, not 2007...

  • farnoxfarnox Member

    Thank you all for your constructive criticism on our offer! We updated it again and now offer 5 TB of bandwidth included and reduced the cost for overage traffic.

    You have to keep in mind that this is accelerateds traffic mix including carriers like dtag which cost much more than a maybe cogent only facility. Traffic prices are like 1-20€per tb depending on the mix and datacenter in germany. Also the dedicated plans themself are pretty cheap. 5tb is very very decent now.
