well that is possible since we have our own layer 3 switch which has bgp support on it though to be sure we will ask our upstream if this is possible.

one question at least though what will the bgp be used for? do you have your own ip blocks you would be announcing over bgp? because we would have to know so we don't get into legal trouble if you do something illegal. as this request strikes us as odd as bgp is used only on dedicated servers only to announce ipv4 blocks there isn't usually a reason to use it on a vps. as that is why you rent or get dedicated servers for as we are waiting on our dc's confirmation before we roll out our dedicated rental side of CubeData first since there is something required on there end first to do before we can do that. which might be better in the long run than using a vps for bgp.

  • IPv6 and purely for an anycast network.

Just hosting some personal sites and testing.

I'm using Vultr but wanted something cheaper in Dallas

okay well that at least eases our fears someone would abuse that(since it is mostly out of the norm for us) though our dc is taking a long time to respond to us so we will tell you when they reply if they said yes or not.

They are saying yes it is possible like we thought so we mean the worse you are out of is what $5 depending on which vps plan you chose?
