Direct traffic from a VPS to another

I was wondering, how can you direct a traffic from a VPS to another? If that makes sense.

In my case, I run a game server. But I want to make different "proxies" or whatever from different part of the world connecting to the main server. How do one go on to do such a thing? and what is that technique called? Would it possibly also manage to hide the main server's IP by doing so?

thanks in advance!

If you want to hide the main server's ip i would recommend a gre tunnel.
Buyvm got a nice tutorial for this.

You can gre more than one server to your main server but at the end there's no advantage to do this because you'll got a higher ping.

I agree, GRE will be the easiest, and probably the best performing, with lowest CPU consumption, solution.
