Wait... what? Why would you announce just to anycast between two networks?

EDIT: those ASNs seem to have a really small # of peers/transit. Do you expect to pump massive amounts of BW through like Level3 and China Unicom?

Sent you a PM, will see what I can do.

We have a new vr.org coming up.

  • @FasterVM You're going to use this to defend against DDoS attacks? Your combined BW is less than 10 Gbps (estimate). You'll get in trouble, especially since the IPs being rented can become DDoS magnets.

    well well, good luck.

dcs cannot advertise under your own asn.
So if you want to use anycast it is not available.

We have Dcs BGP session for blackhole, it only can do this…

Peer AS Up/Down State |#Received Accepted
    205.209.. 23338 11d 07:52:40 Establ | 664511 664511

If you have any question about Dcs, you can contact me via [email protected] We're one of DCS reseller.

Some do (Like ourselves, Vultr, and others). The customer's ASN would be a downstream to the datacenter's, though.

DCS is a real stupid company. We want to use own BGP in his Datacenter and they agreed but ask us wait for them. Three month passed, they still kept us waiting…

    Time to find another provider.

For what it's worth, I looked at their dedicated server offerings and I can match some of them w/ more ram if you ever decide you need something in New Jersey. Free BGP session and announce under your own ASN.

You're probably several hundred milliseconds above acceptable latency and missing CN2/CT/CU.

I most certainly am hence it's U.S. East coast :D

  • @FasterVM
