Post Altranative Offers For Online.net Kidechire

So as you all know, online.net is taking all kidechire one by one due to EOL of the product. So as per my point of view all the Kidechire users need to move somewhere safe including me. I'm inviting all the providers to post there best offers. Here are the requirements. Please don't offer openvz because we all need KVM or small dedis :)

CPU : 1 Core
Ram : 1 GB
HDD : 20 GB SSD
Port : 1Gbps
Bandwidth : 1TB

it's great if we can get some DDOS protection too. If anyone can match online.net offer 1.99 Euro with KVM I like to move asap. Otherwise price needs to stay between $1 to $4

I usually offer the very same plan as Xen-HVM at $5, but if anyone is interested they can PM me for a coupon to bring it down to $4. Available in Buffalo or Dallas.

  • Do you need it to seed torrents?

Else, If you just want something ultra-reliable, go with a buyvm slice or the current Dediserve KVM special

You get top notch support and 10 min support usually. (typically < 5 for dediserve)

If you're from China check out dediserve Vienna(it has CT peering).

I also recommend Lon2(london city), Dallas ( has psychz ddos protection)

Digitalocean offers this for 5 usd, online.net offers it themselves through scaleway.com for 3 usd, vultr offers it in some locations for 2.5 usd, @anthonysmith can probably whip you up a yearly offer, etc.

Check the offers section of the forum.

Nope, this would not be a kidechire alternative, this would be a complete mediocre shit of an offer.

Don't make thread with loudly sounding words about a "kidechire alternative for everyone" and then just post some lackuster specs that just you personally would somehow get by with.

    Kidechire had 2GB RAM.
It had 160 GB disk space.
Bandwidth-wise, not "1TB", but unmetered (100 Mbit fair use, burstable to Gbit).
Also it had DDoS protection, even if on the basic level.

It's either matching all of these at a comparable price, or at least something close, to even be called an alternative in the first place.

As it stands, there are three main alternatives:

    • Kimsufi KS-1, 5 EUR (but good luck catching that)

    • OVH VPS-SSD, 2.99 EUR

    • Scaleway, 2.99 EUR

Digicube Atom dedi could be another one, but it's only 1GB RAM, only 30GB SSD, and you need to lock in for a year to get the good price. Also it's relatively little known in the LET community, may have some gotchas/issues to it.

Is Tor relay (non-exit of course, 100Mbps limit) and light seedboxing allowed?

Any test LG/IPs for the above 2 locations?
    Are they KVM?
Also, it would be great if you could post the CPU details (and if pass through is available).

    Thanks.

Don't you love those people, when you ask several questions in a message, they will just randomly answer a few of them, ignoring the ones they didn't like. :)

Fair enough and I agree. But at least I got a relevant answer, there are times when they don't even answer "correctly".

In this case/context, the OP has specifically requested for KVM (and NOT OpenVZ) but many times, offers/replies come in without even reading the OP or other in between posts and that's why I wanted to make sure it IS KVM.

I guess, in defence of @racksx, "on those plans pass through is not available" implies it IS KVM (or at least I take it as KVM).
