  • Define SBL.

    normal, eDROP or DROP?

I have some DROP prefixes which are pretty much useless.

Could they never be cleaned up? What would be actually do with them if they cant be used? its itching my mind just had to ask.

Sounds almost like the IP Space reclaimed when Santrex went belly-up.

Interested in those aswel. PM me

No, that was SBL/eDROP and routable still with sales proof. Hard, but doable.

These are cybercrime ranges, no one will ever route them again. Heavy spam, heavy hacking, DDoS - you name it, this /24 was involved in it.

Sent OP info, but yea as said - aside of looking nice it is a useless network.

when you no will ever route them again? does this mean the ip range can't access the public internet? is there any to fix this ip range?

  • how about AFRINIC

Use inside AFRINIC or i will report it. We automatic monitor.

  • How do you go about cleaning sbl'ed blocks?

  • pcfreak30 said: How do you go about cleaning sbl'ed blocks?

My limited opinion of @william is that he'll push every rule he can get away with without getting bitten.

IRR's aren't going to let you break their rules and be like "Well shucks you outsmarted us" and not do anything about it. They'll simply revoke you and no amount of shitposting, lawsuits, or anything of that nature, will get those addresses back.

At least in the case of ARIN, they're the definition of bureaucratic red tape bullshit, and I'm sure the others aren't far off.
