thank you all. I will go with quickbox :)

I was also casually trying to find a decent seedbox AIO solution. Thanks for that recommendation, @DaipuX; I hadn't seen that project prior to your mention of it. It has basically everything I need and with some minor tweakage here and there, its pretty much complete for my usage scenario.

yes, I set it up just a few minutes ago and it runs like a charm.

Can I ask somebody for an invite to a tracker? Would be awesome

    @quick and @TimeWillTell:

If you are content with IPTorrents, then send me your e-mail addresses and I will haul off an invite your way.

    Thanks!

Thanks, surprisingly this still works. From the github project page, it looks like hasn't been updated since over 4 years but works just fine.

No updates in 4 years could mean a ton of security holes. Be careful, and stop raising the dead.

  • I use https://swizzin.ltd

Easy one line script, no subscription needed and works on Ubuntu 20.04 and Debian 11.

did it work for you on debian 11? i kept getting some script errors and revert to debian 10

  • I got an IP torrent account about many years ago, they disabled it due to inactivity.

Is there a way for cheapskates' like us to get an invite without paying $$$?

Loads of folks have invites available, particularly if you have an invite to trade.

Swizzin worked for me on Debian 11. Try installing basic dependencies before running it (build-essential and python for example)

  • Why not using docker? I can build multiple seedbox in one server. One for private tracker and the other with VPN on public tracker.

Yes just did an Debian 11 and swizzin install last night. If your using an online.net/oneprovider there are problems with there image and swizzin don't work, OVH image works well.

Why would you use public trackers, just asking for it. you can get everything with private trackers...

I use rtinst script from Github. It's easy, light, and in just a few steps it gets a seedbox working by also including SSL for web interface (Let's Encrypt).

Because they don't care about you being a leecher. Sometimes, medium quality content is enough. If you want the best quality then there are no other places than joining private trackers. But in private trackers, we all know that we have to give back to the community.

Dude, the whole point of a seedbox is to "give back to the community". The very definition of "seedbox" implies "seeding", hence giving back to community. Even on public trackers people love to give back. Otherwise we become selfish and greedy beings, lower than animals which hunt and eat together without having deposits and without keeping it all for themselves. The world is much bigger than yourself and your small seedbox. We need to think beyond ourselves.

Now get your stash of (porn) linux iso and share it with others too.
