Which bench?
bench script I/O speed from OVH server using NVMe
Would be interested too. Was looking at some of their 128GB servers and rely heavily on random IO on them.
real world benchmarks better https://www.servethehome.com/real-world-nvme-performance-gains-sth-web-hosting/
What kind of reliability are people having from NVMe? At work we've had 2 Dell laptops and 1 Dell server made unbootable by NVMe disk issues, and we've been unable to determine whether it was the actual disks or whatever Dell has done around them (software or hardware).
We may just have been unlucky, but we're seriously considering waiting 6-12 months before ordering another NVMe disk again to give the technology the opportunity to stabilize, or be replaced by something more reliable.

when we did test as testing/development VM, random issues we had with OVH NVMe:
Personally, I prefer the NVMe instead of SSD, as performance much better.
