Please assure you are not using fraud detection, I just learned I got flagged as Fraud`er
because of a torrenting case I did when I was learning to install rtorrent.

I tried 2 hosts here at LET but they all refunded because of my record, just get me a windows VPS already.

Thank you.

If they refunded your from here they were probably using FraudRecord, but I can't imagine a host actually refunding and cancelling because you torrented once. Surely there's a better reason?

Yea right...a LET host not using fraud detection, that will not happen.

Do you really want a provider that gives zero fucks who he sells to?

Yeah I can't see that either. Smells fishy.

I only need a host that DOES NOT rely on a service that labels "torrenters" as "fraud"

and the investigation for the reason on why I got in the list starts.

  • Torrented once, wants a trial Windows license... make it rain on LET with all the offers

Well, you must have been seeding for a long time to get copyright notices from the host. I'm surprised a host would cancel you for something like that when you haven't even used their service yet, but every company is different.

    Why not?

I think you need a host that doesn't care about DCMA, not a host that doesn't filter fraud. A host that doesn't care about DCMA probably wouldn't factor in a FraudRecord entry for torrenting copyrighted material.

I literally burst out laughing as I'm sitting in the car right now.

Trust low end VPS customers without anti-fraud measures, now that's a good joke.

Best part is I worked at Santrex and VPS6 ;-)

You only get 254 dry-run attempts first, so you should start practicing soon.

Get an OVH VPS, plenty of guides available for installing windows on them, I hear they are top dog these days, and I am sure as shit stinks and copyright infringement causes problems for legitimate hosting businesses that they do not use fraud record.

  • @jarland

    I hereby file a complaint:

@jenkki tried to insult or attack pretty much everyone here except me. His only excuse is that I did not even talk to him.
I demand that you as admin talk to him. Arbitrarily excluding single users from insult or attack attempts is not acceptable!

I expect no less than being called "clueless" by him. "paranoid" seems acceptable, too.
