You should be able to place an order, but not able to pay it yet. Then after your validation completes, even if the order has expired (24 hours?), it's known that they have prolonged order expiry times in the past for people, so likely you can still get the server. i3 or i5 in such case, who knows.

  • Finally got lucky as well, i5 with 16 GB !

  • got i5 16GB, not bad :)

  • @zoliben Kimsufi don't have a phone number, they have a forum but good luck getting a response

It is €8.99 plus VAT? IIRC new accounts must pay VAT regardless if they are inside or outside Europe.

How is the situation for old accounts that already had VAT excluded?

  • Did anyone got a i5 in Canada?

Got a i3 8gb, could be better, but can't really complain, great value for only 9 euro.

  • Got one - thanks. I was one of the (many?) lucky ones - got a i5-2400 (3.10GHz) / 16GB RAM with 2TB (HGST HUS724020ALA640) with ~8200 hours (and no issues per smart).

Need to test network and of course run a long disk test but I think I should be all set considering that the HGST's are very good drives.

  • Got i5 in France.

I was disheartened when I saw "Product name: Kimsufi KS-3C - 8G i3-2130 1x2TB Server" in the management page. Until I realised it's only a standard text.

Box in France.Lucky me! Only 3k hours on the HDD as well. Speedtests kinda suck though :/ No clue what to do with it though. Maybe I'll let my online.net limited box go. Don't need Gbps.

  • When you post benchs can you say if it's Canada or France? That would help.

I would like one i5 from Canada.

  • got lucky first time
