Hi guys,

we finally launched our location in The Netherlands yesterday. We will have some stock available for our 12 EUR / year deals there. We're also still offering the same deal in our Frankfurt, Germany and London, UK locations.

Please note that the new location doesn't come with any Anti DDoS protection. So if you need that, please choose our Frankfurt or London locations. The datacenter we use in The Netherlands is the DataOne in Wormer, which is only around 25km away from Amsterdam.

Our new control panel is not yet launched but it will follow within the next weeks, we are currently redeveloping some parts of it. It's coming – just a little delayed.

Special Plan
- 2 vCPU Cores
- 512 MB ECC RAM
- 15 GB Pure SSD Storage
- 500 GB Traffic / month @ 1 Gbps port
- 12 EUR per year
- Frankfurt, London or Amsterdam
ORDER NOW >

Pricing in EUR. Excludes any applicable tax. Additional traffic is charged at 0,02 EUR / GB.

Ignore the "page not found" message on the checkout page and please make sure to select the yearly plan.

Custom deals are also possible, for example if you need 1 GB RAM instead of 512 MB we can do it for 20 EUR / year, etc etc. - simply contact us to get an offer and a URL to order.

- London, UK
- Amsterdam, NL
- Los Angeles, CA (Q2/2017)

  • I have three servers with Nodion.
    Reliable service.
    I consider buying one more.

  • Nice offer. Order link goes to a login/password screen, i.e. enroll an account before seeing the order page, though I guess that's ok.

  • Do you have your own hardware in all these locations?

    @Nik can you also make a 1gb plan? :)

  • Trying to enroll an account immediately gets 404 on the /register page.

Yes, same specs but 1G instead of 512M for 20 EUR / yr:

Just tested it again, works just fine for me. Please try again.

Good question! We colocate our own equipment in Frankfurt, while in London and Amsterdam we are simply renting dedicated servers. This will change soon though since our infrastructure gets more complex with some features we are adding so we will be colo only throughout the year.

  • Same thing. Problem seems to be that the signup link

    https://cloud.nodion.com/auth/register?redirect=/machines/new?code=5RAFVAVPTJ&plan_id=72

sends a POST request to /register which responds with 404. /register sends a login screen in response to GET.

Weird, can't reproduce it. Please simply go to:
    https://cloud.nodion.com/auth/register

And try if you can create an account there.

  • Same thing, 404. I have to sign off for the night but if it's still happening tomorrow, I can wireshark it and try to figure out what's going on.

  • it's working oke here, just created account and set it up!

Same thing here. Which browser did you use? To make it even more weird, I had the same problem (404 on POST /register) with Pale Moon. Doing the same thing with Chrome worked. ?!?

Hm, okay, it seems to be working fine in Safari and Chrome, while even Firefox is not working.

I am sorry to say but I can't influence that as we are currently still using Virtkick. We will launch our own panel within the next weeks where such things will be no problem anymore.

@nik: Can you also provide a yearly "doubled plan", i.e. with 1GB RAM, 30GB SSD and 1TB bandwidth? And in what particular datacenters are your servers located in Frankfurt and London?

Frankfurt is Interwerk, while London is DDCL.

I'm interested in the double resources plan but why is is not 2x€12? in case i've missed something?

Maybe the 12 EUR plan is just a price leader (similiar to the ArubaCloud 1 EUR plan).

So you can order 2x 12 EUR = 24 EUR and get in total:

    • 4 vCPU
    • 1024 MB RAM
    • 30 GB SSD
    • 1000 GB Traffic
    • 2 IPv4 Addresses

    Or you can get:

    • 2 vCPU
    • 1024 MB RAM
    • 30 GB SSH
    • 1000 GB Traffic
    • 1 IPv4 Address

    and pay 30 EUR. ;)

I know that this isn't a fair comparison. But I would have also expected a price <= 24 for that plan. However, it's their calculation and it's up to you whether you sign up or not. ;)

I understand what you are talking about, but that's just how our special deals work. Our competitors are doing the same, look at DO. For $5 you get 512 MB RAM, 1 CPU and 20 GB SSD. For $10 you get 1 GB RAM, 1 CPU and 30 GB SSD. That's also not twice the specs for double the price. The $5 plan is just to get customers with a low price tag.

Yes, it should be not more than than 24 Euro as someone is buying 2x Deal. Crissic did that while they were in operation ! :D

From lynx, the login button gets a 404 directly. The "need an account" link doesn't work at all since it seems to be JS dependent.

  • @nik I noticed your using Quasinetworks for your new Amsterdam location. Are you also using them for your Frankfurt and London locations? Also what is your relationship with Quasinetworks, are you a customer or a business partner? I ask because it seems they are only now building out their network and they don't even have a website online yet. If you visit their site it says they are still in the process of setting up their POPs and they seem to be in all the same locations you are in. As I had never heard of Quasinetworks was curious to know if this is another one of your brands you are working on or if this is just something you are getting into on the ground floor?

Nothing negative meant by the request just trying to understand your relationship.

    Cheers!

We are using Crosslight B.V. for our location in the Netherlands, Frankfurt and London use other networks, there is no other relationship between Nodion and the names you mentioned.

Interesting as the router your test IP is attached to is 89.248.175.19 which is owned by Quasi Networks LTD (IBC). So then your provider 'Crosslight B.V.' must be utilizing their network infrastructure or is associated with them, if you are not with them directly.

    From my MTR:

    4. 80.249.212.253 0.7% 3224 11.9 6.9 1.8 273.9 25.3

    5. 89.248.175.19 16.7% 3224 2.5 14.2 2.3 339.4 37.5

    6. 185.182.63.60 0.1% 3224 2.8 2.6 2.3 32.2 1.2

    Thanks for the information.
