I need HK vps

hi ,
3 months ago I got a vps on HK , and I installed Softether, it work fine for 3 months ,
using Facebook and watch youtube is amazing , download speed 10 to 18 M /s,
suddenly the speed drops to few Kb,

all providers said china GFW will reduce the speed,

so does any body tried HK Vps that did not met the low speed vpn to china?

any suggestion for another VPS provider ?

thanks a lot

  • if you use softether, ip or whole /24 ip range will be 100% blocked by china's great firewall, pptp also under such risk.

to keep secure, you should use shadowsocks or anyconnect, your current vm ip has been record by great firewall so it will no use any more

i suggest low end provider ban softether for china user

lol :P do you not know what China GFW is?

    Sure. Just select right route

Route doesn't matter, as long as you leave China, the GFW will filter ALL known VPNs, including PPTP and OpenVPN. This is why people use shadowsocket as it's really hard to detect.

I tried before , and the speed is not that good , as softether , softether vpn download speed reach 19 M /s , openvpn only few KB,
I tried digitalocean while I'm in china , received speed is too slow
but other HK provider was the best , I think because the physical route

I'm did not , I only use SSh to the Vps server, for linux command line

  • On a desktop you can try TOR (with Pluggable Transport and the MEEK protocol). But generally data speed in China for everything from the free world is rather poor.

How to you get not poor when input 100Mbps than output 2Mbps? :)
