Anybody tried Alibaba Cloud? I'm going to shill for it now because we're desperate for sales.
I am trying to find a cloud hosting for my personal website, one of my friends recommended me to test Alibaba Cloud. Because they are also hosting a campaign, in which users can win $500 USD coupon by sharing tutorials. Anyone tried this before? Your suggestions will be treasured.

I thought they were as cheap as Chinese smartphones but it seems they are not https://intl.aliyun.com/pricing
Thanks for your advice. How about their web hosting package starting at $7.49/month?
wait... what is an "Ultra Cloud Disk"
wait... why don't you Google that before asking it? https://intl.aliyun.com/help/doc-detail/25383.htm
On-topic; I looked at the Alibaba Cloud a few months ago but it is even more expensive than our current AWS stack. Why don't you use AWS? Elastic Beanstalk is perfect for hosting websites, and if your website only contains static content you can use S3.
AWS doesn't provide domain and DNS, right?
Erm... they do...
cough Route 53 cough
thx, just checked their websites, as I need to register a new domain, seems Alibaba Cloud offer's better, it even contains a data transfer plan in the package
It's like buying a car from Adobe.. Why would you do it when there are better providers for it?

@candy adversting should be done in offers section and not hidden as a conversation to disguise it. "medium=lowendtalk" means that this is a targeted adverstment campaign.
