    You should switch to cgit. It is more suitable for git. You can browse git repo using web browser. It allows users to download source tarball.

    From what I can see, I don't really like the interface..

    cgit is just a repository browser and does not offer any project management tools.

    Anyhow, I was working on a project management system myself, it's just not done yet :)

    Yes, but I aim to self-host my repositories (not relying on a third party) so Github is not really an option, and Gitlab, as far as I know, uses a stupid amount of RAM.
