Yea I dunno what's going on with him. He's trying but he isn't actually following through. You can see it's really getting to him

He hasn't scored in cup games in ages. I think the last time I saw him score a goal was in the laughable north korea game from WC 2010.

  • @stablevds

Excellent, Aruba & Curacao are all major fans of The Netherlands let hope they can pull it off.

  • @liam and thats also it for Portugal. ;-)

  • CoreyCorey Member

@Francisco I'd rather play than watch. Just how I am.

@Liam Jeesh, Just curious what you say to them? ;)

    "Wayne, Big Fan!, Big Fan!"

I have only been to a couple united matches, The atmosphere around you is amazing. I remember I had some guy in front of me with a flag.

@liam said: I don't like Cristiano. He used to live nearby to me and he nicked our table when we went out for dinner one night ;-)

We must live pretty damn close. There's a few places that are Manchester United player hotspots, you see them around a lot.
The village you're thinking of is Hale, right? ;)

ManU also have a throw-in-the-new-player-who-has-just-moved-to-Manchester house around the corner from me. I remember cueing behind Wayne Rooney in the local corner shop. (He looks more of a potato in real life than on TV)

Haha, I find it hilarious they actually limit your internet speed at these times to prevent you from streaming the matches online.

Isn't Ireland out already? But yes, go Ireland!

  • @vedran @gbshouse
Ireland got pounded really hard by Spain -> 4 - 0. and they can go home and watch whats real soccer is on TV!

  • JacobJacob Member

Pure Luck, but that shows a dedicated player right there.

Today Russia will beat Greece and the Czechs and Poland will be a draw.

  • mikhomikho Member, Host Rep

I aint clicking that link, I've seen it enough ...:)

  • @liam

Aha, there's another place a lil' further west of you.

A load of players live on Mereside Road in Knutsford - Freakin' huge houses.
Drive down the road really slowly and try to read the car registration plates :p

Either way, looks like we live quite close.

England are nice and plays as gentleman. Is that a liability?

  • VPNshVPNsh Member, Host Rep

Apparently if you've just been to the bar and bought a £10 bowl of jagerbombs, and England score... Celebrating results in that £10 beverage landing all over you, and the floor.. And you have to buy another.

Note to self: less celebrating next time :P

Indeed, I am being pretty ashamed of my country lately :P

  • Russia went home, guys. Unbelievable, they had a very good start.
