    Which OS?

0xdragon said: Huh, that's weird (It was Debian 7).

Debian 7 (Wheezy) does not work. Debian 8 (Jessie) does.

Guys, I can see a lot of people trying to install CentOS 7, which requires a minimum of 1GB RAM! Please do check that the OS select is suitable to run on 512MB RAM.

You can also check the console during the install for any problems. Sometimes there is the odd 'press enter' type of thing going on to go to the next step in case there is an issue downloading the OS files over the network.

  • Looks like the problem has been fixed and Jessie provision is fine now.

  • It seems I was wrong as for Jessie provision, the issue is still here Retrieved file /dists/jessie-updates/main/i18n/Translation-en.bz2.

I was trying to install Centos 5. Tried again with Ubuntu, got stuck again. Apparently, third time was charm and installed perfectly.

Click 'continue' and it wil proceed. Sometimes there are a lot of simultaneous provisions which occasionally cause problems.

Relatively new hardware perhaps? You should try out our SSD nodes :-).

  • I have mine now for over 3 months and it's still pretty good.

We are limiting supply to 20 VMs per day for now.

You've to go to the free offer page and claim the 50 carrots every month over the button on the page. Exactly like you did it the first time when you registered for a free VPS. Every month.

Nowhere. There is no real bandwidth monitor. Use vnstat to monitor traffic.

are they going to shutdown (or suspend) the server after running out of bandwidth? until next month?

I don't know. I never used my 100 GB because I just host a few web pages and not much more. Anyway I believe as long as you don't go crazy and use a lot more bandwidth and hog the node there won't be any problems or so I've been told.

What will you be using 100GB /month on for such a small VPS? :D

colingpt said: are they going to shutdown (or suspend) the server after running out of bandwidth? until next month?

No we cap your server to 1Mbit indefinitely if your usage is exceeds 100GB /month. And we cap it even more if you are maxing out 1Mbit 100%.

There is stock now. 10 left at the time of this post. ETA before stock runs out, <30mins.
