Awesome fail review Zen :P
@Jacob Such a noob.
BOOM!
@ZEN use http://freze.it/ or screenshot and please post a copy of that TOS.
Sad, Sad Fail!
Dear BurstNET Customer,
Due to the repeated abuse, and the multitude of blacklists generated from your network we are removing 184.22.204.0/24 in 24 hours. The actions of your users have caused an expansion of this listing impacting other clients and services. We can no longer allow this to continue. Please note we need you to not only prevent this abuse, but audit your users and remove any other abusive users you may currently have hosted on other networks. Further repeated abuse and/or blacklists may lead to termination of your account.
Sincerely,
BurstNET Abuse Department

So as far as I understand they did not terminate you?
That is the only ip range I have for hosting vps services.
I only have 5 other ip's for mail ect.
At least most users got close to there full.
Full use of spamming from your network maybe
@JustinBoshoff 1500 Emails per hour per account? Really? What did you expect, do you not check rbl's?
Wouldn't they allow you to purchase a second /24?
I have not been able to get more ip's for about 8 months.
That is like asking a kid who just got punch in the face if he would like another.
Please, let's ease up on the tone a bit. This is not a witch burning. Justin has clarified the situation and offered me a refund. There is no reason to believe this was a "pump and dump" scheme, now that he has offered an explanation.
Sucks for BurstNET US Customers, I have been able to get IPs Easily through UK, I have never been questioned on justification after filling the forms.
True.
@JustinBoshoff is the reason you haven't been able to get ip's had to do with how many black listed ip's you have had?
@Zen you sure have a talent for writing!
@rds100
Sure he does. Both of them are beautifully written,
@24khost I had i think one listing the first time I requested another /24 and got given the justification runaround.
@JustinBoshoff did you actually try to enforce the 1500 emails per hour limit, or you just hoped your users will behave? In all cases with such ToS you were asking for trouble. This, and the LEB market attracts some real scumbags, especially if you don't have the will to kick them out. Well, that's also one of the reasons why i don't want to advertise on LEB
He sure does:

@ rds100 all abusers where dealt with quickly but I had one guy called Vincent Chang I think that would register under aliases and get me listed over and over.
Dat name!
@JustinBoshoff what type of fraud monitoring were you using?
I think there is still a bit hope. Justin has some plan.
This is what happens when you don't keep your customers in check. Hefty fines are a must in your TOS/AUP for abusers - that will make them think twice before trying anything stupid. Just my 2 cents.
Fines are not enforceable. A mighty kick in the butt is what works best.
If you have a very long leg.
M
I have well sized "suspend" and "terminate" buttons ;-)
no Fuck that guy.
