Stripe for payments?

Any providers who is using Stripe for payments - do you have any feedback on the service? We're thinking of using Stripe instead of our merchant account since it ends up being cheaper for most cards, especially since almost everyone uses some kind of business or rewards credit card that causes it to become non-qualified.

I'm also interested if you are using zStripe for WHMCS how it is working out.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

  • I think IPXCore make use of...

  • Indeed we do, and we quite like it. It accepts payments from our clients in India just fine, whereas they were having a hard time paying with Paypal or gcheckout. We don't have a lot of people using it, as it's 'new' and a lot of people don't know about Stripe in general.

Fees are the same as standard Paypal rates.

Try out the zStripe plugin and see how you like it. Just be sure to keep track of the 15 day trial period; the plugin will 'expire' but not really let you know otherwise, and will give you really weird errors that don't really specify that the plugin has expired.

  • We have been using Stripe since it was first introduced, as well as the zStripe plugin for WHMCS. Couldn't be happier with it.

We might try this as well... 1/10 of our traffic comes from India and we JUST found out that they were having trouble paying and implemented payza.

We turned off Payza because of all of the uncertainty with them since the AlertPay transition. They randomly started holding our funds for extended periods of time for seemingly no reason. They also have yet to respond to my support ticket (or even look at it) from back on July 3.

@Jack said: They decided to limit our account due to changing the domain on our account.

Nothing's changed for us. They just decided they wanted to hang on to our money.
