We've been focusing on our new DDOS Protected VPS line but that doesn't mean we forgot about our LEBs. We've put together a promotion specifically designed to highlight our LEB services as well as our backups. Where else can you get a dedicated IPv4 address, native IPv6, and 500GB of bandwidth for less than $1 a month??

Use the promo code 25VPS on any VPS plan for any billing cycle in any location on our ServerDragon.com website for 25% off. Promotion is limited to 50 uses.

Just out of curiosity, I haven't seen SecureDragon on LEB. What's up with that?

  • Joe promised to not post his offer at LEB :)

That was before when I was on the LEB staff, I've sent in a few offers since then.

Wow, it has been a while. For some reason I thought we had one posted this year but I just looked and the last one was in November. I'll look into trying to get posted again. :)

Ah... So, we'll wait for another offer in LEB :)

Hey @KuJoe, are the CPU allocs on the BU series strong enough to handle GPG encrypting during a backup?

Just ordered 1 more, i have O32, it never went down (75 days), now ordered O96 :D
    great offer.

Should be. We're flexible on our backup VPSs and can make adjustments on a per user basis to accommodate your backup needs.

    I ordered O128.

  • Argh, and I just cancelled my 128 in Tampa like a month ago, but I have an account credit, and this is a great deal. Damn you, Joe. :(

  • @KuJoe

Your Tampa test IP isn't responding.

  • KuJoeKuJoe Member, Host Rep

@Soylent IPv4 or IPv6? Both look good from here.

  • RamiRami Member

@KuJoe Bad luck for me because I'll not take this offer I have 4VPSes from you no need for new one now
But you have a good company and I'm happy with you

  • IPv4. It's at least responding now, but it's a bit crazy. It'll average 60ms, then jump to 600, and then time out and be fine. If it's fine on your end it's probably an intermediate router.

  • How much a year for O128 with 2 IPv4 and 4 ipv6??

  • KuJoeKuJoe Member, Host Rep

    @HardWareGuy $31.49

  • I've just bought one O32 lol :D

    I did! You bastard!

Actually, this reminds me of an old problem...

With 32MB using Deb 6 minimal, it's impossible to generate locales (dpkg-reconfigure locales) because the dpkg-reconfigure requires too much memory to run. Not a super big deal, but you get a bunch of error messages when you install something.

There is probably a more direct manual way to generate locales without going through dpkg-reconfigure.

Generating locales (this might take a while)...
      en_US.UTF-8.../usr/sbin/locale-gen: line 62: 2653 Killed localedef -i $input -c -f $charset -A /usr/share/locale/locale.alias $locale
     done
    Generation complete.
    *** update-locale: Error: invalid locale settings: LANG=en_US.UTF-8

  • KuJoeKuJoe Member, Host Rep

Just open a ticket and we can increase the RAM for you while you generate locales.

Not exactly sure, we have Asian clients in both locations with VPNs. I would do a ping/traceroute to the test IPs and see which offers you the lowest latency. The promotions codes will expire on next week.

  • Ok KuJoe, waiting for your information then..
Do you mean next week is March 23?
    Thanks..

  • KuJoeKuJoe Member, Host Rep

    It will expire on 03/18/2013.
