Anyone know company who resell email service from rackspace?
Preferably cheaper or let me signup with single mailbox only

http://www.rackspace.com/apps/email_hosting/rackspace_email/

Thank you.

  • Why the need for a reseller? Rackspace does a single mailbox with 100% uptime for around $2.. that's as cheap as it gets.

  • I don't think rackspace has reseller programs. Are you looking for rackspace mail or exchange? It's about $2 for their email service and 10 for exchange if you buy from rackspace.

No they don't. I use rackspace and i've had a couple issues with downtime and i've only used them for two months. Their MS Exchange likes to stop working randomly, the other day it was down for about 3 hours in the middle of the day.

Never used it, according to them it's "100%"

  • @sandbox Our company resells Rackspace emails but sales is closed as of noon today until Jan 2 :) We are a web solutions company that provide add-ons to our services, and not a web hosting company so don't expect hand-holding moments of support.

If you are still interested and don't mind waiting until the new year, PM me for details.

  • Rackspace set minimum 5 mailbox for basic email (not exchange). So total cost per month is $10.
I'm looking for those reseller who customize the price plan. Hopefully cheaper for multiple mailbox.

    @tortau thanks. Will contact you.

  • Check out Namecheap. Might satisfy your needs http://www.namecheap.com/email/email-hosting.aspx

  • Rackspace is down again. Just letting you know.

@damiensb i can see your mx using rackspace email, is it the one currently down?

    it looks alright here: http://status.apps.rackspace.com/

  • @sandbox do you need Exchange e-mail or just IMAP e-mail boxes? How many mailboxes?

Outlook is unable to connect to the exchange server.

@jbxl not ms exchange. Just the normaol imap/pop email. Not more than 5 mailboxes

@damiensb so it's the ms exchange server then...

  • Try here. I recommend them highly for the mail services. Used them for the last 2 years.

    http://www.rollernet.us/our-services/mail-services.html

They have no mailbox limits or domain limits. Depending on your needs the $5/month account could work great. Webmail is either squirrelmail or roundcube. IMAP/POP3 supported as is push e-mail if you have a smartphone that can use it. Prepay for a year and its only $50. The spam filter is very configurable.

  • Sorry to bump a very old thread, but is there any known "Rackspace Email" reseller? I don't need 5 mailboxes (min limit = 5 mailboxes)

  • People may be looking for answers here, hence I wanted to share that 37Solutions offer Rackspace mailboxes for less

That $1/month option is very nice.

We used to resell Rackspace Email and it was great (I still use it for all of ShoveHost's mail) but they changed a bunch of stuff in the reseller program which kinda sucked so we stopped doing it. Our one Rackspace Email customer didn't even care. They do provide a great service, though.
