  • put your email adress in to get an invite in the mail when they have new slots.. the service is new and seems to be handing out the invite in batches..

Done, waiting for invite. They list some paid plans too, what is difference(I don't understand Deutsch)?

  • Yep. @Radi, first of all it isn't Deutsch (Germany) but Dutch (the Netherlands). Paid plans will give you backups and more space ;-)

  • I understand that yahoo hands out 1TB "storage" with free plans as I assume:
Most accounts won't use more than 5-15GB
It's a perfectly sensible bait to lure photographers in, who spend a lot of money on storage and equipment anyway.

What do you guys know about this website/company/provider?

  • Hoi,

Je aanvraag voor STACK is geregistreerd.

It's one of the oldest and biggest hosting companies in the Netherlands.

  • I still don't know what's the catch.

It's likely an investment into getting more customers in. I mean, 1TB isn't that expensive these days when bought at scale. If you can get them to get more storage or other services (domain names, e-mail, etc.) it's not a bad way to go.

  • I've signed up anyway with a disposable domain that I use for catch all emails.

I don't think storing encrypted server backups would hurt anyway.

Catch might be that they might stop the service without any warning.

But you made some good points.

  • On a side note any good online storage provider with 50-100GB space for free? Other than Mega.

Hubic if you can uhm invite your friends and be invited. Just lookup a ref code on here or google and you start with 30gb isntead of 25gb.

You can get 25GB(5x5GB) from referrals. You can get creative with your referrals of course.
