East-Coast US DDoS Protection

edited August 2015 in Requests

Hi all,

Would like to pick up an East-Coast DDoS Protection box, I know about the obvious two (BuyVM and Ramnode) but would like to see if I can pick up any others.

Must have decent ping to VolumeDrive and CC's Buffalo.

Flexible budget, LET prices if possible :)

  • OVH? I don't recall that many east coast DDoS protection providers.

  • PM me. We might have some stock left in our New York metro location

  • Can do in NYCMetro NJ aswell, let me know if interested.

  • choopa ?

Choopa Dedicated have 10Gbps protection. ReliableSite too.

  • CC Buffalo's protection?

Choopa's can be dropped by a kid's booter - CC's Buffalo is a bit pricey in the offers I've seen and isn't that good (dropped a cPanel server I had on it)

Looking forward to Psychz East Coast, I can expand a bit further out of the East Coast if there is any offers.

OVH is good, but looking for inside US this time :)

What size attacks are you attracting?

  • LordSpockLordSpock Member, Host Rep

    22.31 Gbps average,
Max hits a little bit more

    so around 25-30Gbps

  • Vultr have choopa default protection on their New Jersey locations. Not that powerful but works again small attacks.

I'd use them, but my attacks are usually above 10Gbps ;< - Still looking for one :P

Ohh, I remember you - you had a TCP proxy tutorial I made on your site, credited though so no bother :D :D

    @OnraHost @MrRapidHost

Does this mean 10Gbps "NYCMetro" (aka not New York) or something more than that and still Not New York

Remove please, didn't mean to doublepost.

    What is your budget?

Flexible, I can consider anything aslong as it's worthwhile protection. I'm only interested in a low end machine as it's just for Nginx Reverse Proxy (10-20 sites), I've got high end boxes that are unprotected for the storage. Max bandwidth will be less than 200GB.

It's in NJ, and its 10Gbps, I can gice you 45% off any unmanaged vps plan listed on our website.

  • LordSpockLordSpock Member, Host Rep

I'll expand it from east coast from just the East of the US.

@MrRapidHost - No can do, 10Gbps can be hit by most kids with a cheap booter now.

  • @LordSpock what about OVH with a US IP?

Don't care about IP location, already got OVH VPS but don't -really- want to use OVH if possible.

  • I'm more or less at capacity, but can probably make room if you don't end up finding somewhere else.

Sound a bit too big for a little DDoS ;) I might think Choopa wouldn't be able to handle, if you want to try we can test it a bit.

Tried Choopa, it did go down within a few hours of me switching the DNS :P

I might experienced 10 GBps at max, no 20 or more :( and hope not

Still Looking, willing to accept offers from East & Central US now - although if it's outside East it'd have to be LowEndPrices.
