myVPS XXL looks like an interesting package but why very less BW? i mean only 800GB when most other provider are giving 1TB+ even with 512 Ram. The only downside i see of this package is Bandwith
@Dost Another downside is their "default" portspeed which can be just 10MBit.
10MBit in Germany? now thats crazy if its true.
Many providers with little bandwidth included tries to make it sound better with "premium bandwidth". So just avoid anything that says "premium".
Hi Dost. Traffic is not routed least cost but best route. Thus, expensive carriers such as DTAG are prefered if they are the best route. This comes with the downside that we can not offer a large amount of traffic at such low budget prices.
90% of the nodes are connected with AT LEAST gigabit by now. The bandwidth is of course shared amongst all users on that node. The rest are older nodes which are connected with 100 mbit. Of course, on that price level we can not commit users a gigabit without further cost.
