    Is this PV or HVM? The disk I/O suggests a single drive or perhaps an IDE driver.

    Regardless of which use, a single drive is a big bottleneck and drive failure will destroy everything.

    its my 2nd node, i guess should not have issued on my first node ( which has the amount of vps that jerland saw) the 2nd node is dedicated to linux boxes. i issued on the wrong node, now that i am aware of :)

    You're on the right track, just don't cut corners on disk, it'll turn around to bite you later ;)

  • Yes, disk is the worst bottleneck. For xen or KVM not so much so because it provides better isolation and CPU can keep things under control, but for OVZ is the real killer. A node is built from the disk up. If you have poor disk, 32 gb is the max because it will never fill before the disk becomes unusable. M
