It's in serverius they ignore everything but spamhaus reports i think.

Too good to be true, is the DC they use that cheap?

  • JackJack Member

@fan said: is the DC they use that cheap?

No , Not really cheap as you can only colocate with the DC I guess they either do colo or they rent from a dedicated provider there.

  • ZenZen Member

No it isn't cheap. Had 15 servers with serverius at one point.

  • JackJack Member

I bought one anyway can't say no to 1.50 euros :P

  • Hmm... Their regular VPS Plans are actually quite expensive.

    Relax brah
  • SpiritSpirit Administrator

Their billing system don't work correct if you choose long term payment. Extra IPs, cPanel, etc... are free.

Example with semi-annual order without promo code: Quote: VPSSLIM - BASIC VPS » Control panel: Cpanel » Linux OS: Centos 5.x » Extra traffic: None » IP addresses: 2 » We advice you a support plan: None

    [Edit Configuration] [Remove] € 46.94 EUR Subtotal: € 46.94 EUR Total Due Today: € 46.94 EUR Total Recurring: € 46.94 EUR Semi-Annually

  • Maybe they did it on purpose

My blog | Server Uptime | I'm not working for any providers in here, all my comments just my own opinion.image
  • lol. image

Aka, purchasing cPanel license for 1 year actually reduces 1 euro. That's with full management and everything with 6 extra IPs and a ton of extra traffic.

    Catalyst Host - Pie Approved!
  • so many price errr

serious for their offer and service

  • SpiritSpirit Administrator
    edited August 2012

Yeah they "fixed" pricing error which means that addons aren't free anymore however I am not sure if they know what they are doing because addons still apply under discount which means cPanel for 25% price, etc... I checked history of this host and they advertise VPS offers since 2010 which means they aren't so new and they should know it better... They have most likely good attempt however as @ynzheng said so many errors... if they run this promotion too long they will ruin themself I am afraid.

edit. they failed even WHT section to post offer. It's posted under "Cloud Hosting Offers" instead "VPS Hosting Offers". Strange.

    lol :D

64mb RAM and 15GB traffic for 7$/month? Sounds reasonable!

  • SpiritSpirit Administrator

    Naah.

Cpanel isn't included in this offer and will be invoiced if someone orders it with 75% discount, no worries! Also, it's a special one weekend discount action, so after this weekend the action will close. We can handle it

It would be cool if they survive. Support is atm. really fast (around 5 minutes to respond and fix some ordering issues).

There are so many offers on the market for prices like that. We know it well here, but ppl which didnt hear of LEB/LET actually think that 10 dollars a month for their blog in an 128 ram, 4 gb hdd 10 gb traffic a month is a good deal. For north america western europe 10 dollars is nothing, so, it is worth it for them. M

Who's General Failure, and why is he reading my drive A: ?

  • I bought the 1GB with just few euro, so, if anyone in LET want tot est them, why don't we bought their 1GB Ram and see how they went?

Updating from official distro sites is pretty slow :(

  • Somehow i can't access vps control panel and it's look like my vps offline.

  • Mine is online, but it's not really usable. ls takes 10 seconds in an empty directory, etc. I am so shocked :)

I requested migration to other node (I wasn't sure if they have it) and they responded in few seconds that they can do that. It wasn't really migration but new vps re-creation however so far this other node perform much, much better. I hope that they won't overload it.

  • Hm. Maybe I should try to ask that. Btw, my ticket asking for IPv6 isn't answered yet. Maybe they just flooded with order :p
