cPanel Access Via ~Username Broken

agoldenbergagoldenberg Member, Host Rep

So for some reason Mod_UserDir is being really weird on my server in that it doesn't work at all.

Anyone have ideas? I've tried turning on the Mod_UserDir tweak and adding an exception for users and that doesn't work. I've tried turning it off all together and that doesn't work.

Any other ideas?

    Try this:

    /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf

    /scripts/restartsrv_httpd

  • What exactly happens (as in what displays) when you navigate to /~username?

    Blank page? Error? Doesn't load?

@Jar just tried what you suggested and nothing... Still the same issue.

Opened a ticket with cpanel as well

Sounds like either mod_userdir may not be compiled in or you may have mod_ruid2 compiled in. If you have mod_ruid2 enabled, it conflicts with mod_userdir. Might make a quick easyapache run and make sure everything is as it should be.

@Jar you hit the nail on the head. It was mod_ruid2 breaking shit. All sorted.
