Someone 'reviewed' Versaweb, is this real?

Hello,

I've been wondering about to go with a cheap DDoS protection dedicated server service, but after seeing this review I think I would rethink my decision.

:( Slow support etc.

  • What is the point of this post? You are just cross-posting between different forums for shit that may not be substantiated? wtf.

I am asking for people using Versaweb is if what he is stating in that post is true, so I can get versaweb and this is just a 1 off thing or it has happened to more than this guy. And don't swear you immature child, express your langauge in a more extensive way and don't limit yourself to swear words unless your vocabulary is limited to that then it's okay..

  • How about you wait until the thread on WHT actually has more information to make judgments on?
You are just trolling for drama or thread views to feel special.

    Here is VersaWeb's reply now:

  • Even before I read VersaWeb's response, I think the client who opened that post is not giving them enough information. Stating that their service is "Offline" without providing further details is insufficient for anyone to start investigating anything, and they seem to acknowledge that the server is responding to Pings and SSH.

  • For a word: Hehe

  • I never had first hand experience with versaweb, but why not stick to something like ovh's vps for ddos protection?

Because some providers can do it better than OVH but maybe less affordable. It's always nice to have alternatives.

  • I've had a box with versaweb for almost 2 years now, and support was fantastic and timely when i needed (only during box setup to reconfig software raid) and not needed since.

It just hums along working great. No network issues.

Can recommend versaweb without reservations based on my experience with them.

Sidenote; Using this deal with them http://lowendbox.com/blog/versaweb-49-12gb-ram-dual-xeon-l5420-in-las-vegas-nevada/
