This will generate CPU load IO load and a bunch of other stuff. NOTE: Dont run this on production VM's you might piss off your host lol.

  • It's really just good for generating a lot of CPU/IO/Disk activity, and a lot easier and quicker than creating a bunch of network scripts to do the same thing.

    Hosts should scan for this stuff and automatically remove/sandbox/suspend.

    Those hosts should also include that they will scan and stuff in their TOS ;)

    Hmm.. it looks like I've visited this site and downloaded stress-1.0.2.tar.gz before, interesting, I don't remember using it..
